Gyða Mjöll Ingólfsdóttir is an Environmental Engineer at Samorka the federation of energy and utility companies in Iceland. She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Main focus of work has involved environmental consultancy for energy companies, sustainable buildings and water- and wastewater management. Prior to joining Samorka she worked as a project manager and engineer at EFLA Consulting Engineers and Hnit Consulting Engineers.

She holds a B.Sc. in Civil-and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iceland and an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering with focus on water and wastewater management from the Technical University of Denmark.
