Elín Smáradóttir is an attorney at law and head of legal affairs at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur (Reykjavik Energy). Elin was one of the founders of and a board member of Women in Energy-Iceland.

Elin has worked in the energy and environmental sector for two and a half decade, as well as lecturing in Reykjavik University and the University of Iceland on energy and natural resource law.
