During 2011-2014 he was the CEO of H.F. Verdbref (H.F. Securities), an Icelandic securities firm, and prior to that, he worked within both the capital markets and the corporate finance function of the same company.

Andri leads the Fossar Markets sustainable finance team which has been instrumental in establishing and growing the local green bond market in Iceland.

Andri holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Iceland and is a certified securities broker in Iceland.
